Reading

Classic. I have the perfect idea for my blog post, log on, open a new post and.....

blank.

Of there it is!

(eh hem)

To write, you must read.

Lucky me then, because

I

read

literally

bloody everything.

I read everything from fantasy stories of knights and fairies, to  historic romance with a prairie school teacher and her cowboy, to thrilling spy stories, to non-fiction stories of war and spy history,(sorry. I really love spies...) even autobiographies of Andrew Jackson and others. I also enjoy read poetry, and Shakespeare.....
[Speaking of which. I actually have read Shakespearean plays...of my own free will. I LOVED  the Twelfth Night.
Sorry, I should stop before I go off on a Shakespeare rant.]

Anyway, reading is a great thing for writers. If refreshes your brain from long hours of typing and editing, gives you inspiration, and on and on.

What books have you read that you loved?
I have a tiny list on the side of my blog (I need to add to it...There are so many.)
