You know how last time I posted about reading an entire series and starting another...well I finished that one too. And because I was reading half the week and spending the remaining half of the week frantically catching up on my school...well, there wasn't a lot of time to blog.
And so I missed an entire week of "Write A Novel In A Year," but I don't really car, because it was boring anyway. You can find it here, if you want to keep up, but for the next couple weeks I won't be posting about my story OR Write A Novel In A Year, or much of anything really because....
I am competing in Camp NaNoWriMo!
Now, I don't know if you've heard of NaNoWriMo....
NaNoWriMo stands for National Novel Writing Month. National Novel Writing Month is actually November, but NaNoWriMo, a writer group thingy has gained popularity and now they have CAMP NaNoWriMo! (These months are April and June.)
So I will be taking a little vacation from my story to write...a different story?
Yes, that should make total sense.
ALSO!
(Because with High School, writing a novel, taking college classes for extra credit, volunteering, getting ready for a 5K, and everything else going on in my life I need more to do, so......)
I am going to ready 200 books in a year AND blog about them!
MOST of these books will be books I've never read before, but I will do some throw backs to my favorites from years past.
YAY!
(I am going to need a lot more coffee)
-Mary Kate-
OH my gosh girl! I think you need a lot more than coffee.....
ReplyDeleteWhich session of Camp NaNoWriMo are you doing?
The April Camp NaNoWriMo. Have you ever tried it? I LOVE your blog, BTW

Not yet....I've been seriously thinking about it for some time. Just not sure I can juggle writing a new story and finish college at the same time.
DeleteUgh. I know what you mean! A lot of people take the WHOLE month off to write, but there is NO way I can do that...
