Cake Book Tag

This tag was stolen off Paper Fury! And it is amazing and you need to go check it out and then go back and read all the posts.ALL OF THEM

Well, at least the ones involving cake

(all of them)

Chocolate Cake: A Dark Book You Absolutely Love

Gemina by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff

Vanilla Cake: A Light Read
P.S. I Like You by by Kasie West

Red Velvet: A book that gave you mixed emotions
Since I JUST did a Cookie Book tag last Sunday and it had THE SAME QUESTION, I decided to answer this one slightly differently. Instead of a book where reading the book gave me mixed emotions, I'll answer it as a book that I have mixed emotions about. And that would be the entire Harry Potter series. One one hand, it is so cool. I have my little slytherin scarf and am on pottermore and all that. On the other hand, I kind of hate it because of....
  • Slytherin prejudice in the books?
  • Harry Potter is cool and all, but...I'm sorry. I don't think of J.K Rowling as "a writing queen" much less "THE writing queen." Honestly, a lot of her writing bored me and I almost didn't finish the series.
  • Harry Potter and The Cursed Child: What. Is. This. (Draco's kid is cool. Everything else...)
  • I really DON'T see the chemistry between Ron and Hermoine.
  • Book Ron was Meh and Movie Ron was Bleh. They literally took a bunch of his good traits and gave them to Hermoine.

Cheesecake: A book you would recommend to anyone
I'd Tell You That I Love You, But Then I'd Have To Kill You by Ally Carter
(I am literally going to keep telling you guys to read this book until you have all read it, k?)

Coffee Cake: A book you started, but didn't finish
(Why would this be coffee cake? I have never started a coffee cake and then didn't finish it)

There aren't too many of these books, since I normally don't stop reading a book unless I an bored to death or almost bored to death, but then find a better book. I actually have never finished the Selection Series. I read the first couple books, but then just never read the last book or so.

Carrot Cake: A book with great writing:

Cinder by Marissa Meyer

Tiramisu: A book that left you wanting more
The Gallagher Girls series. Which sadly left me to reading other teen spy books which were wildly inaccurate and made me cry. (on the inside)

Cupcakes: Series with 4+ books:
The all time biggest series I've ever read is the Warrior series by Erin Hunter. I've read over 50 of the books.

Fruitcakes: A book you weren't anticipating
A dragon's guide to the care and feeding of humans by Laurence Yep and Joanne Ryder. I thought it would be boring (since it is roughly the thickness of a napkin) but I rather enjoyed it.

Lamington: Favorite Australian book/Author:
Jay Kristoff!!! Illumine and Gemina! *squeal*

  1. I loved the Warrior Series! I think they had one with bears and dogs, too, but I only read the ones with cats. (Despite the fact I don't like cats, lol.) I did read the bears one, but it wasn't as fun.

Did you ever read 39 clues? Those were awesome, too. :D

    2. I think it was middle grade, but they are awesome and I would still read them now. They are written by different authors and there's different series, you you'll have to find out what the first series is and so one. I messed up on that, lol. XD

  3. I'm confused. It says you posted an evil writer's award, but it won't come up.
