12 Things I Learned From My Cat

The new year is all about looking back on the things you've learned and looking forward at the things to come.

So now, I'm looking back at all the life lessons I've learned from my cat!

#1: Take naps.

#2: Bask in the sun.

#3: Eat food you love.

#4: You're beautiful. Anyone who disagrees are litter box scoopers.

#5: Take time to play!

#6: A good death glare will take you far in life.

#7: Size doesn't matter in life. Only how determined you are and how big your heart is.

#8: It's important to have claws and be able to use them, but its also important to know when to retract them and pad soft footed. Like when stealing food. dealing with sad people.

#9: Go a little crazy sometimes.

#10: Don't be afraid to let someone know you love them. If they don't like you, bite them!

#11: If someone is making you uncomfortable, tell them.

#12: If they touch you without permission MAKE THEM BLEED!

And all you girls out there should go check out this blog, The Cornered Cat.
 Stay safe out there.

  1. What?? You can't learn from a cat. You can only learn from a dog, obviously. XD (I'm just kidding. But for real, cats hate me...)

That website you linked is awesome. Even though its cat themed, I bookmarked it because I've been wanting to learn more about guns and self-defense. So thanks for linking that. <3

Great post. *coughs* Dogs are better *cough* XD XD

I respect some people prefer cats. To be honest, I used to be afraid of dogs. Now, I can't imagine my life without my puppy. Except, he's four, but he still acts like a puppy. XD

  5. I wasn't originally a cat person (I'm a full-on Equestrian) until this scraggly, ugly cat showed up where I work. Well...he stuck around, and now I can't imagine life without him!

He doesn't have claws, but man, can he bite!

    1. I have a cat like that...

We have a lot of cats, but this one stray showed up...His foot was infected, so I took care of it and fed him...and now he is the most annoying thing ever and follows me constantly.

      No good deed goes unpunished.

Which you would be unless you started the posts now, posted all the time from those accounts, came and followed my blog in six months, scrolled back to this post and THEN commented.

    4. That sounds like far too much work. I guess we'll just have to settle for knowing dogs' superiority and hoping you'll come around. XD Or, we could just agree to disagree and stop fighting like . . . cats and dogs. *cue groans*

(*hushed tones* Cats are the best! Mine likes to stay in my room when I'm gone, acting all sad. Then when I come home, he stalks me. He's my little dragon. *scoops up the fat little puff ball*)

    13. It is! Do you have any fat little puff balls?

    15. In my experience, they poke unprovoked. Then again, I was holding its toy mouse . . .
