A Sneak Peek at Future Projects//Blogoversary Week

While these are not ALL of the stories I'm brainstorming/plotting right now, these are the ones I'm most likely to work on or write soon. The tornado one has had the true plotting process begun.

"Tornado One"
Contemporary

Involves two teenagers to hiding in a basement during a tornado warning, becoming friends and fighting the whole "The school gives all the money/recognition to the sports and none to the arts"

Interesting fact: He's on the school debate team and she is an actor who runs a beauty/acting vlog. Which sounds suspiciously like one of my friends. (An actor girl who is considering starting a vlog and likes this guy we both know who does debate.)

*Waves to friend because I know she's reading*
HI! Its me, spilling your secrets on the internet! Don't worry, nobody will know its you unless you comment and start yelling at me!

BUT I DID NOT BASE THEM OFF THOSE TWO. In fact, its just because A.) I was on a debate team and loved it! and can now put random debate terms in my book (Rebuttal, affirmative team, etc) and I know a smidge about acting, social media/blogging and I wanted him to show up while she was wearing full Celtic inspired warpaint for a costume video.

Sequel to Capes, Coffee Shops and Cake
"H,H&H"
My 2018 NaNoWriMo Project

Can't say much, but there are hackers. And more heroes introduced to the cast.
Oh and you get to meet the villain. *evil laugh*

"That One Trilogy"
Fantasy
Involves mythical creatures, pirates/smugglers, spies, warriors, and one girl who is really really good at carving wood and does it when she's bored. Keep wood on hand at all times unless you want the wooden pillars in your home carved to look like they have roses climbing on them!

A Kingdom Far Far Away
Fantasy

Your cliche "person gets sucked into book/computer/game"
But written with the sole purpose of being funny about bookworms.

So the girl hates books, get sucked into one and then has to deal with: Obsessing over fictional characters, FICTIONAL BOYFRIEND/CRUSH, knowing random facts about fictional world, people thinking she's nuts, etc. And also: authors=wizards who can make portals to other worlds, but you can only travel to that world once.

So which one is your favorite? And say hello to my actor friend!

-Mary Kate

  4. Is that "Tornado One" as in "Tornado 1", or as in the way you used it in a sentence, "the tornado one"?? (haha, it must be dangerous to have friends who blog... *puts on Sherlock Holmes hat*)

And as for "That One Trilogy" (is that its name or its description??), I'm just going to hide all the spare wood so she has no option but to decorate my house, thank you very much. ;P (also: pirates!!)

    1. In a sentence. Because I haven't named it yet so that's what I've been calling it.

At one point in the story, the pirates are complaining because they never seem to have enough utensils so she just carves up a whole bunch of fancy spoons and is like HERE. MY GIFT TO YOU! Can you forgive me for the giant owl carving in my cabin now?
