The 11 Questions!

#1 If you could time travel to any time period which would you choose and why?

Well, I have to say that I'm rather fond of now-days. And I'd rather not go back to, you know, a time I can't vote. Or of segregation. But I think I would like to go back to the '40s. I'd probably head to England and join Churchill's Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare. The only problem is, how can you go back to a time like that and not interfere or do things to change horrific events?  Tell people about Pearl Harbor, kill Hitler as a baby, you know? Should you interfere? Should you not? 

Whew. I'm glad that I won't have to make that decision.

#2 Have you ever cried whilst reading a book? Which book?

Those of you who have known me longer are probably already aware of this, but I don't do the whole "crying" thing. I have creepily good control over my emotions and only let the ones that I like out to play. (I know. It kind of freaks me out too. Is this my super villain origin story?!)

But here are books that I recommended to people that mad other people cry:

#3 What is your favorite word currently?

Well, I recently learned how to say Banana in a British accent so that's fun. 

Blubbering is always slightly amusing.

Barnacle is also amusing 

And anything that could come across as a Shakespearean insult. 

Thou blubbering bootless barnacle.  

  #4 If reality was not in your way, where and what would you be?

I would be flying. Because I like heights and then you can dive bomb people and make low flying airplane noises.

#5 What is something you are thankful to God for this week?

I'm thankful for the movie Man From UNCLE. A masterpiece.

#6 Cats or Dogs?

Cats! Though I must say, it's really fun seeing the difference between cat lovers and dog lovers. Because most cat lovers will be like "I like cats, but that's just me. Dogs are cool too." and dog lovers are like "I don't like cats because they are made of evil and darkness."

#7 If you could swap places with anyone from a book/movie/real life who would it be?

*tries to think of someone who isn't horribly tortured (in their past or future)*

I'm not sure. Would it just be for like, a week?

#8 Do you sing in the shower (be honest)?

Nope. It just feels weird.

#9 What book do you wish would be made into a movie/TV series? Dream Cast?

The Ranger's Apprentice. Not too picky. Maybe Sabrina Carpenter as Alyss? Oh and HALT NEEDS TO BE PLAYED BY VIGGO MORTENSEN. AND LADY PAULINE NEEDS TO BE PLAYED BY CATE BLANCHETT!

#10 What's the best piece of advice you've been given?

Decide what you want to do and own it.  

Meaning: Once you decide to do something, do it all the way, to the best of your ability.

#11 What is your favorite food?

European coffee and pastries. 

AND IT REALLY REALLY STINKS. NOBODY TOLD ME THIS WOULD HAPPEN. GO TO EUROPE ONE TIME AND THEN YOU GET FOOD CRAVINGS AND WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO ABOUT IT? 

THE 11 FACTS ABOUT ME

1. I'm learning French!
2. Did you know that the average height for a guy in America is 5'9? (Or 5'10.) Want to know how tall I am? 5'11.
3. My favorite movies are The Man From UNCLE, The Lord of the Rings (Return of the King is my favorite) and Twelve Strong.
4. I play the viola
5. I may have broken some guy's heart? Oops?
6. I'm an international business major!
7. I'm thinking about minoring in International Relations and Diplomacy...And possibly French?
8. I used to drink my coffee with a hefty dose of cream and two sugars
9. And (post-Europe) now I'm more of a coffee and cream kind of girl (Cafe au lait when I can get it.)
10. My favorite thing in my college dorm is my GIANT wall map and my most useful thing is my white board. (The cork board is also nice.)
11. I wrote the majority of my posts in advance, so this post was actually written at the end of June! OH MY GOSH. Could you imagine if I died? And nobody knew my password? Random posts would just keep popping up for the rest of the year.
