Snippet:

She looked at her tray and then threw it across the cell, the mashed orange potatoes covering the door's porthole window with a perfectly aimed splat. The guard mumbled under his breath as he reach over and hit the door's window cleaning mechanism. 

The little wiper ran twice, clearing away the potato diligently and exposing [NAME]'s face directly outside the window, eyes wide and disheveled red hair pointing in all directions. The guard's head snapped back violently and he jumped away from the door, squeaking like a child.
